A man was arrested following the seizure of quantities of drugs at two locations in Tremblay, N.B., near Bathurst.

On February 19, 2021, members of the New Brunswick RCMP Northeast District Crime Reduction Unit, as well as Bathurst Police Force, BNPP Regional Police, and RCMP Police Dog Services executed search warrants at two locations in Tremblay. Police seized quantities of what is believed to be cocaine, cannabis, drug paraphernalia, a firearm, ammunition and money.

A 51-year-old man from Tremblay was arrested at the scene, and released pending a future court appearance.

The investigation is continuing.
