Burin Peninsula RCMP investigates Shoppers Drug Mart theft, seeks public’s assistance

Update: Burin Peninsula RCMP thanks the public for their assistance. The two individuals have been identified.

Burin Peninsula RCMP is investigating a theft at Shoppers Drug Mart in Marystown that occurred during the evening of February 1, 2021.

On February 2, police received the report of the theft. A variety of fragrant products were stolen, valued at approximately $1200.00. Video surveillance showed a man and a woman, who police believe have information about this incident, inside the store during the time of the theft.

Photos of the two are attached.
