48-year-old man dies following single-snowmobile crash

A 48-year-old man from Fredericton has died following a single-snowmobile crash in Zealand, N.B.

On February 12, 2021, shortly before midnight, members of the Keswick RCMP responded to a report of a single-snowmobile crash in a wooded area in Zealand, off Upper Stoneridge Road. The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver of the snowmobile, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, lost control of his vehicle and collided with a tree.

A 48-year-old man died at the scene as a result of his injuries. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
