NCR student shares his experience of being immersed in the life of an RCMP cadet for a week

When the school year comes to an end, it is time to reenergize, but also to reflect on past achievements and look forward to future goals. Grade 12 student Jacob Kelk recently attended the RCMP Academy, "Depot" Division in Regina, Saskatchewan, for the RCMP National Youth Engagement Week experience, where he represented the National Capital Region. He describes his chance to visit "Depot" at such a young age as an eye-opening experience and a glimpse into what his future may truly look like. Read more about his experience. (July 2019)
